Integrated short-circuit protection
The actuator/sensor distribution box is equipped with integrated fuses to protect actuators and sensors against shorts — this eliminates the need for additional fuses in the switching cabinet. The integrated short-circuit diagnostic system enables finding errors quickly. Power supply is maintained, even in the case of a sensor short. The error diagnosis information is gathered and transferred to the control system for analysis via the M23 connection. |

Optimum handling
The distribution box combines a light and compact design with optimized handling features: The wide spacing between the separate connection sockets allows for a very convenient installation. For convenient replacement, the positioning of the installation bore holes is the same as on previous versions of the Lumberg actuator/sensor distribution box.
In addition, the new distribution box has in-line bore holes to be fitted directly onto a mounting rail. |

IP 67, vibration and shock resistant
With an IP 67 protection rating, this actuator/sensor distribution
box enables on-site installation close to inputs and outputs,
which, in turn, simplifies the wiring. A protective housing or additional
protection using a subdistribution box is not necessary.
Another advantage to using actuator/ sensor distribution boxes is
their particularly high level of resistance to vibration, which protects
the electrical wiring. |
